About TechTalks

TechTalks is a consulting group, founded in San Francisco by Liz Farrell in 2017 to help schools and families have productive and healthy conversations around social media and technology. As the busy mom of three kids--a middle-schooler, a grade schooler and a preschooler--Liz relates to the full gamut of challenges around the healthy use of technology. A Bay Area native and graduate of Loyola Marymount University, Liz’s background is in media production. She was previously a morning news producer for KTVU Channel 2 in Oakland, has worked with Common Sense Media and writes a monthly parenting column for San Francisco's Marina Times newspaper. Liz is an active member of the San Francisco community in her roles as board member of San Francisco Parks Alliance and Stern Grove Festival.
